Parin Shah

Parin received his Ph.D. from Rutgers University, in the Laboratory for Drug Delivery (LDD). He has more than a decade of experience for developing various kind of drug development and drug delivery in pharmaceutical industry. Currently, he is working in a leadership position in the pharmaceutical industry. He has successfully developed many pharmaceutical ANDA drug products which are currently selling in the USA market.
Parin is a fourth year part time Ph.D. candidate in the Pharmaceutical Science program. He is pursuing his Ph.D. under the mentoring of Dr. Bozena Michniak in the Laboratory for Drug Delivery (LDD) and the Center for Dermal Research (CDR) in the area of topical and transdermal drug delivery. His research focus is on topical drug delivery into and through the skin for the various skin disease, most common like psoriasis and eczema.  Parin’s area of scientific interest and expertise are Topical Drug Delivery and Development, Formulation Development, Formulation Optimization, Design of experiments using quality by design, In vitro Release and Permeation Testing and Design.
