GESA’s Mission

The Graduate Student Association has a mission to promote the professional development and academic excellence of the students while promoting the social interests and diversity of our student body.

Goals of GESA

1. Promote entomology within the university by serving as a liaison for collaboration and communication to enhance the educational and professional development of the students
2. Encourage excellence by providing the graduate student body with a highly collaborative environment to enhance research and academic opportunities within the field
3. Develop leadership skills through professional development opportunities and community outreach
4. Promote diversity through inclusiveness of all cultures, experiences, ethnicities within the organization and department
