I am currently the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers-Camden. I am also a professor in the Department of Computer Science. My primary research interests are in computational geometry and the design, analysis and implementation of algorithms for geometric problems that occur in applications such as mesh generation, robotics, and computer graphics. I have been on the computer science faculty at Rutgers-Camden since 1997. I was chair of the department from January 2016 to June 2022, and graduate program director from June 2010 to December 2015. Prior to Rutgers, I was a post-doctoral fellow in the School of Computer Science at McGill University. I received my bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from Wellesley College and my PhD in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
