By Wyonia McLaurin

In this piece, McLaurin explores the lives of her mother and two older sisters as they navigate their roles as parents and artists, balancing careers, dreams, and families, and discovering what it means to be a “good mom.”  The women reflect on their decisions to become moms, the sacrifices they have made, and the passion that they possess for both their children and their work. McLaurin created this piece for her fall 2019 “Introduction to Multimedia: Documenting Your World” course.
