Erica Cristina Ferreira is a geographer, an activist and a public school Geography teacher in São Paulo. Over the past decade, she has been a teacher-trainer within the public school system supporting teachers in developing anti-racist curriculum that incorporates Afro-Brazilian and African Culture and Histories. She is a member of the Black Geographies Research Group-NEPEN at USP.
