Maria de Lourdes Marques Silva, daughter of a griot and fisherman, began in the quilombo movement with the objective of collaborating in the fisherwomen’s struggle with regard to the acquisition of the community kitchen Tempero do Quilombo.
Currently, she is developing volunteer work in the Association of Akomabu Women (AMA), with the goal of rescuing and preserving the histories and ancestral livelihoods of the quilombo, which, through orality, perpetuates the popular cultural manifestations of its origin. She also contributes to the strengthening of affirmative action.
Maria de Lourdes Marques Silva, filha de Griou, pescador e marisqueira, iniciou no movimento quilombola com o objetivo de colaborar na luta das marisqueiras no que tange a aquisição da cozinha comunitária Tempero do Quilombo.
Atualmente desenvolve um trabalho voluntário na Associação de Mulheres Akomabu – AMA, com a finalidade de resgatar e preservar as histórias e vivências ancestrais do quilombo, através da oralidade perpetua as manifestações culturais populares de sua origem. Contribuindo para o fortalecimento das ações afirmativas.
