Russell Shoatz III is well-versed in a multitude of healing modalities and restorative justice practices. He is an administrator, artist, healer, feminist, visionary, carpenter, chef, and devoted father. His father, a Black Panther, became a U.S. held political prisoner in 1972. Russell championed the campaign that successfully freed his father from solitary confinement after twenty five years, and then successfully liberated his father from fifty years of incarceration.
He is a political strategist who has contributed to multiple successful electoral campaigns, a mentor, a lead organizer on multiple community based campaigns, and a producer of large mainstream political events. He has founded multiple organizations, institutions, schools, and businesses, and most enjoys mentoring.
