In order to be confirmed financially eligible for the RU-N EOF program you will need to submit supporting income documentation. Below are a number of resources to assist you.

Financial Aid Process

Step 1: Complete your FAFSA or NJ Dreamers Alternative Financial Aid Application by state deadlines. The FAFSA becomes available on October 1st, yearly.

Step 2: Submit any documents listed on HESSA/NJFAMS “To Do List” You will need to create a HESSA ID if you do not already have one. Make sure that the email you use to create your account is one you check regularly.

Step 3: Submit any documents listed on the “My Financial Aid” section of your “My Rutgers Portal”

Helpful Tips

  • Check your Rutgers/HESSA email regularly as additional documents may be requested at any time
  • Rutgers Financial Aid may take 5-7 business days to review your document. If you see a document has not been removed from your list after that timeframe, contact us
  • If you are asked to submit the same document to HESSA & Financial Aid, it must be submitted in BOTH portals
