Ben is a fifth year PhD student researching modern and contemporary art in the United States. He focuses on the relationship between the visual arts and the built environment, with a particular interest in intermediality, representations of suburbia, and issues of race, sex, and gender. He currently also serves as one of the lead editors for the Rutgers Art Review, a peer-reviewed, graduate student run academic journal.
