The popular Pamphlet Series were published in the late eighties and early nineties on contemporary issues related to Alcohol Studies. Authors included renowned scholars, educators, professors, and other experts from a variety of areas.

From the original introduction to the series:

This series of educational pamphlets provides clear, concise information on a wide variety of topics important to the alcohol field. They are easily readable introductions by authors considered authorities in their area. 

The Center of Alcohol Studies had four major areas of concern: research, education, treatment, and prevention. As part of its educational mission, the center published a series of pamphlets on topics in the alcohol studies field. See examples in the Publication Catalog from 1992.
