M. Jellinek (a.k.a. \u201cBunky,\u201d 1890\u20131963), one of the most important founders of alcohol and addiction studies in the modern era as well as works related to his work, published in the <em>Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs\u2014<\/em>a journal Jellinek helped establish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/alcoholstudies-archives\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/619\/2021\/02\/Jellinek.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-540 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/alcoholstudies-archives\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/619\/2021\/02\/Jellinek.jpg\" alt=\"Man sitting in front of a bookshelf\" width=\"213\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Documenting Jellinek\u2019s career was in the focus of the Center of Alcohol Studies Library, which was also born from his work to collect, abstract, and index the alcohol literature. To commemorate the 125th anniversary of his birth, library staff collated materials that represented <span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">his unique career for a special edition of the CAS Library News.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">More research on Jellinek resulted in the three<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u00a0articles below, published the May 2016 issue of the <em>Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs, <\/em>along with a comprehensive bibliography of Jellinek\u2019s works (open access).<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1.44em\">From the May 2016 issue of the <\/span><em style=\"font-size: 1.44em\">Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Babor, T.
