Perla Rodriguez is a first-generation college graduate and law student. She is a 1L with an interest in Immigration Law and Family Law. Perla earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and had a double minor in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Additionally, Perla was employed as an Immigration paralegal prior to joining Rutgers Law School and assisted clients in all 50 states in adjusting their status. Perla is also a member of the Minority Student Program. She hopes to empower individuals from linguistically diverse backgrounds and ensure that their voices are heard. She is committed to helping build support systems and provide a sense of belonging for underrepresented communities.
