It is that time of year again!

The Latin American Law Student Alliance, ALIANZA, of Rutgers Law – Camden, is pleased to invite you to our:

22nd Annual Defensores de la Justicia Banquet

When: Thursday, October 17th from 6:00-11:00pm

Where: Camden County Boathouse

Our banquet will be a fun night filled with music, dancing, fantastic speakers, and a student and honoree award ceremony.  Our special guests, Commissioner Jacquelyn A. Suarez of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs and Dean Nancy Rubert, of Rutgers Law School Admissions, will be attending as honorees to accept their awards from ALIANZA.  An official invitation is attached and you may purchase tickets here.

This year’s theme, Atrévete a Soñar (“Dare to Dream”), inspires Latinos and Minority Groups to dream big and achieve greatness in the legal profession. Our awardees this year are two distinguished and impactful Latinas who dared to dream, and have engaged in the New Jersey legal community immensely. We hope that you can join us in honoring NJ Commissioner Jacquelyn A. Suarez and Dean Nancy Rubert on this night of celebrations!

Garcia Bright Futures Scholarship, which raised more than $35,000 in the past, and is now endowed by Rutgers University for future generations of Latino college students from Camden.  All contributions are greatly appreciated.
