Elisabeth (Alex) Garcia is a 1L from South Jersey. She is a first generation college and law student coming from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. During Alex’s time in undergraduate school, she was involved in many of the LatinX programs on campus.
Alex has worked at a local firm for the past two years in various positions that resulted in her advancement as a worker’s compensation paralegal. Her legal interests include civil and human rights, specifically in the government sector, but Alex is open to all opportunities.
She is a proud 3+3 student in the Rutgers accelerated Bachelor’s/JD Dual Degree Program. She is also a member of the Minority Student Program. She is passionate about helping underrepresented groups and making change through law. She is excited to not only further her knowledge, but also be a resource and support system to her peers and the community beyond.
