Karen Orozco Huete is a first-generation college graduate. She earned her associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Mercer County Community College and a bachelor’s in labor studies and employment relations with a minor in political science from Rutgers University. Karen has worked as a paralegal specializing in Immigration and Family Law. She currently works for the State of New Jersey in the Executive Branch and has previously worked for the legislature. Her professional journey has given her deep insights into law and policy, fueling her passion to become an attorney. Karen works full time while in law school. Her legal interests include immigration law, family law, and public policy.
