Readers learn about the science of the loss of self-control and the origins of the fascinating scientific phenomenon of “sign-tracking”.\u00a0 We believe that learning about sign-tracking will provide the reader with crucial and unique insights into the mysterious psychological scotoma or blind spot that serves to obscure our awareness of the drug addiction process.<\/p>\n

Follow the adventures of the blind Native American warrior and the antics of his raccoon helper. Despite the best of intentions, they run into a bit of unforeseen trouble, and, as a result, the raccoon came to be called Sign Tracker, because of the very odd way in which he had behaved.<\/p>\n
