Last year we advertised the celebratory event writing about a <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/books-we-read\/scholarship-2022-1\/\">Hungarian title by a Rutgers sociology professor<\/a>. This year&#8217;s highlight is the shameless self promotion of my own work, also written in Hungarian, published in 2023, as mentioned in this <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/books-we-read\/books-we-write-books-they-challenge\/\">interview.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a brief teaser about the book, which definitely builds on the Books We Read project, especially with our strong focus on <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/books-we-read\/bibliotherapy-in-libraries\/\">bibliotherapy-centered library programming.<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/harmattan.hu\/keresztuton-2958\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9158\" src=\"http:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/books-we-read\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/248\/2023\/11\/keresztuton_w-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/books-we-read\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/248\/2023\/11\/keresztuton_w-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/books-we-read\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/248\/2023\/11\/keresztuton_w-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/books-we-read\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/248\/2023\/11\/keresztuton_w.jpg 530w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Kereszt<\/em><em>\u00faton<\/em> (Crossroads) is the second collection of Judit Hajnal Ward\u2019s short stories following <a href=\"https:\/\/harmattan.hu\/hajnal-ward-judit-tintasuveg-623\"><em>Tint\u00e1s\u00fcveg<\/em> <\/a>(Ink Well) published by l\u2019Harmattan in Hungarian in 2019. Both were inspired by the <em>Reading for Recovery<\/em> project at the Center of Alcohol Studies Library, taking bibliotherapy in a new direction \u2013 not just reading and cataloging stories for bibliotherapeutic purposes, but her own writing.
