Initiated by our friends at the <a href=\"https:\/\/unwla.org\/\">Ukrainian National Women&#8217;s League of America (UNWLA), <\/a>several <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/books-we-read\/gallery\/holodomor-talk\/\">commemorative events<\/a> were held at Rutgers last year. Books We Read had the privilege to share our thoughts online about the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/books-we-read\/holodomor-exhibit\/\">Holodomor exhibit<\/a> in Douglass Library. For those who didn&#8217;t have a chance to visit, our <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/books-we-read\/gallery\/holodomor-gallery\/\">online exhibit<\/a> replicated the experience on a smaller scale.<\/p>\n<p>The tireless efforts of the women at UNWLA have also been extended to bringing Ukrainian books to libraries in New Jersey and elsewhere in the United States. The <a href=\"https:\/\/unwla.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Library-ToolkitMTFINAL.pdf\">UNLWA Toolkit<\/a> fosters the common goal of raising awareness with a special focus on libraries.
