{"id":946,"date":"2023-08-25T16:02:43","date_gmt":"2023-08-25T16:02:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/cahbir\/?p=946"},"modified":"2023-08-25T16:04:11","modified_gmt":"2023-08-25T16:04:11","slug":"946-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/cahbir\/946-2\/","title":{"rendered":"BHI-CAHBIR FALL PILOT GRANTS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BHI-CAHBIR PIlot Grants for RU-NB faculty:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To facilitate scanning at CAHBIR, we are pleased to offer two grant opportunities for RU-NB faculty.\u00a0 In addition to scanning on CAHBIR\u2019s state of the art Siemens Prisma 3T magnet, researchers can propose studies that utilize CAHBIR\u2019s new\u00a0<strong>transcranial magnetic stimulator<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>EEG facilities<\/strong>, which will be available beginning in January 2024. Two different awards are available this fall.\u00a0 The full research pilot is for $100,000 spread over two years and is designed to encourage ambitious projects.\u00a0 These proposals require an R21-style application. Smaller minigrants for $35,000 area also available and utilize a brief 3-page proposal format.\u00a0Funds for both types of grants can be used for a combination of scanning fees, TMS, EEG, technical support for analyses, subject participation fees, with a percentage of funds can also be used toward nonfaculty staff effort.<\/p>\n<p>The application deadline is November 1st, 2023.
