Our lab is always on the lookout for motivated undergraduates looking to gain research experience. Undergraduate researchers should expect to commit a minimum of 6 hours per week. Please see our Projects page for a list of ongoing research studies. Email us at canl@rwjms.rutgers.edu to express interest in joining the lab as a student research assistant.
A student Research Assistant (RA) position in the lab is ideal for enthusiastic, hard-working, and organized students interested in pursuing graduate studies related to clinical or cognitive psychology/neuroscience or medical school, and have a particular interest in the research areas of our lab. Generally, the lab focuses on understanding neural systems involved in emotion, motivation and decision making, and the manner in which the functions of these brain regions contribute to psychopathology (e.g., depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, etc.). We have active projects exploring various topics including intrusive thoughts, attention, mood, and functional brain dynamics.
To express interest in joining the lab as a post-doctoral fellow, please email Dr. David Zald at david.zald@rutgers.edu
