The Clinical and Affective Neuroscience Lab at Rutgers University is looking for volunteers to participate in a brain imaging study of decision-making. This study will help us better understand the roles of attention and emotion processing in decision making.<\/p>\n
During this experiment, participants would take part in: (1) interviews about past mental health, demographic questionnaires, and cognitive tests; (2) completing two decision-making computer tasks while in an MRI scanner; (3) complete brief 5 minute surveys on a cell phone, 5 times a day, for a week.<\/p>\n
Eligibility Requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n If you are diagnosed<\/em> with schizophrenia\/schizoaffective disorder<\/strong>: be between the ages of 18-50; no history of neurological disorder (e.g., seizures, brain injury) or significant intellectual\/physical condition; no bodily implants unsafe for MRI scanning (MRI)<\/p>\n If you are not diagnosed<\/em> with schizophrenia\/schizoaffective disorder<\/strong>: be between the ages of 18-50; no history of neurological disorder (e.g., seizures, brain injury) or significant intellectual\/physical condition; no history of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder; no family history of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder; no bodily implants unsafe for MRI scanning (MRI); no history of severe substance abuse<\/p>\n
