Aishah Coleman, Neumann University

Hello everyone! My name is Aishah Coleman, and I am from Philadelphia, PA. I am currently in my fourth year at Neumann University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice. At my university, I serve as an intern at the Counseling Center and as a Research Assistant in the MAPLe Lab, which focuses on Memory, Attention, Perception, and Learning. After graduating in May 2026, I look forward to pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am truly excited about this Fellowship at Rutgers and cannot wait to learn and grow through this experience.

 

Adriana Vasquez, Montclair State University

Hello, everyone! My name is Adriana Vasquez, and I was born and raised in New Brunswick. I am currently a sophomore at Montclair State University. I am majoring in psychology and minoring in neuroscience. After graduation, I plan to get either a PhD or a PsyD in clinical psychology with a focus in neuroscience. My dream career is to become a neuropsychologist and hopefully make a difference in the lives of patients and advance the field of neuroscience as well as psychology. I enjoy writing, drawing, and listening to music. I am very excited for this experience, and it was a pleasure meeting you all.

Chelsea Cheng, Wellesley College

Chelsea Cheng is a junior undergraduate student at Wellesley College, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Asian American Studies. She is originally from Los Angeles County, specifically Temple City. She is interested in the impact that institutional marginalization has on the mental health of those from marginalized communities. After graduation, she plans to work as a research coordinator in a lab that suits her research interests to hone in on what exactly she is interested in. Then, she plans to apply to graduate school programs in Psychology.

Gabriel Vazquez, La Salle University

Hello, my name is Gabriel Vazquez, and I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am a junior attending La Salle University which is also located in Philadelphia. I am a psychology major with a minor in Public Health and Business Administration. My plan is to continue working at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where I am a research assistant for one of their ADHD and driving study. I want to work there to gain more research experience and tasks. While I am working there, I also am thinking about wanting to gain a master’s or even a PHD in data science or statistics. While working in research and taking some classes in statistics, I gained a passion for the more numerical/data side of research and think it is super interesting.

Aaya Nassrallah, Ramapo College

My name is Aaya Nassrallah. I’m a senior in Ramapo college and my major is psychology with a minor in neuroscience. My family is from Palestine and I grew up in north New Jersey. After getting my bachelors degree I plan on continuing my education to earn a PhD in clinical psychologist. I want to work in the clinical field and continue my qualitative phenomenological research that I’ve started at Ramapo. I’m super excited to be a part of a new experience and I can’t wait to see what opportunities this fellowship will present to me!

Nicole Moncada, Hamilton College

Hello, my name is Nicole Moncada! I am a senior at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, though I originally hail from central New Jersey. I am a psychology major and sociology minor, and I’ve had the opportunity to integrate these interests through both research and clinical experiences throughout my undergraduate career. After graduation, I plan to pursue a Master’s/Ed.S. in school psychology with the goal of supporting children in urban communities. Relatedly, my research interests focus on how socioeconomic status and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) influence children’s emotional and cognitive development.

Yenni Gonzalez-Chacon, Drew University

My name is Yenni Gonzalez-Chacon, and I am originally from Summit, New Jersey, though I also lived in Costa Rica for a period. I am currently a junior at Drew University, where I am double majoring in Psychology and Spanish with minors in Political Science and International Relations. After graduation, I plan to either pursue graduate studies or gain professional experience in a field related to behavioral analysis, with the long-term goal of contributing to the criminal justice system by addressing systemic disparities through psychological research and practice.

Brandol Dominguez, Kean University

My name is Brandol Dominguez. I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New Jersey. I am currently a junior at Kean University, pursuing a degree in Forensic Psychology. While I have not yet finalized my post-graduation plans, I am eager to explore various fields within psychology and apply my knowledge and skills toward a meaningful career.

Eloishama Baptichon, Rider University

My name is Eloishama Baptichon. I live in Hamilton, New Jersey. I am currently attending Rider University as a psychology major with a minor in French. After graduation, I plan to attend graduate school to further my education in psychology. I am interested in understanding human behavior and learning more about how the mind works. I hope to pursue a career in cognitive and neuropsychology. Outside of school, I enjoy engaging in artistic pursuits such as painting and drawing. I enjoy creating art as a means of self-expression and to creatively communicate.

Julia Azulay, Haverford College

Hello everyone! My name is Julia Azulay, and I’m originally from Yonkers, New York. I currently attend Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania, and I’m majoring in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies. After graduation, I plan to work in a full-time research program focused on developmental and clinical psychology, or to enter a PhD program in Counseling Psychology to become a child therapist.
