Kara Kurtzman

Kara is an attorney and graduate of the Gender Leadership and Public Policy graduate certificate program at UMass Boston. She spent many years as an advocate working with survivors of domestic violence, and her more recent work focuses on creating equity in our communities through public policy and community building. Kara lives in Milton with her family and a lot of animals where she is busy turning her small plot of land into a mini farm. She is excited to join the NEWL Massachusetts team and all those participating in the program as they begin their leadership journey.
