As the Director of Research Education at CINJ, Sunita Chaudhary, PhD works closely with Lattime in developing and implementing educational programs and collaborating with Rutgers-wide offices and committees focused on education and training. She directs, administers, maintains, and enhances academic programs and activities at CINJ. She establishes partnerships with other Rutgers departments to develop new opportunities for education and training. Chaudhary researches and plans curriculum for new programs and training grants, provides strategic assessment of educational programs and activities, and writes reports, brochures, and assists in writing training grants in collaboration with other faculty (e.g., the NCI funded T32 Post-doctoral Training Grant in Cancer Metabolism and Tumor-host Interactions). She teaches and mentors high school and undergraduate students in formal programs such as the NCI funded R25 Rutgers Youth Enjoy Science Program (PI). She manages the tracking and reporting of data on interns, undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate research trainees and develops and implements educational policies in alignment with Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) and Rutgers University. She manages and oversees the day-to-day operations, financial, and personnel administrative issues pertaining to the Office of Education and Training.
