In 2012, he established Tergus Pharma, a Dermatology Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). In 2024, he successfully merged Tergus Pharma with MedPharm and subsequently stepped down to pursue new ventures. Since then, he has founded ApoStrata, a dermatology therapeutics company developing medications for skin diseases that require medical intervention.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his career, Dr. Nalamothu has contributed to numerous publications, secured patents for his inventions, and frequently presents at international conferences. She has initiated and managed R&amp;D programs in the fields of skin and hair, resulting in novel drug candidates and successful consumer products (AVEENO, Neutrogena). Miri is involved in R&amp;D projects of active ingredients, botanical extracts, skin health and aging, skin pigmentation, hair growth, hair pigmentation, skin diseases, wound healing, and skin engineering and regeneration, for the development of drugs, devices and consumer products.<\/p>\n<p>Miri authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications, reviews, and book chapters, and has more than 80 patents.\u00a0 She spent 20 years at the Johnson &amp; Johnson Skin Research Center, where she received numerous awards, including the Johnson Medal, the most prestigious award given for research and development at J&amp;J.\u00a0 She is currently involved in skin and hair R&amp;D consulting and in the development of botanicals for skin and hair.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
