Our Mission

• Facilitate investigator-initiated and pharmaceutical industry-sponsored Phase I-V clinical research efforts across the children’s academic health campus at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
• Expand access to groundbreaking clinical trials and novel treatments for children in New Jersey.
• Foster a state-of-the-art training environment for medical, nursing, and pharmacy students, as well as residents and fellows.

Our Services
The PCRC offers comprehensive support for clinical research, including:

• Logistical Assistance: Support in acquiring and launching new studies, as well as recruitment and data collection.
• Regulatory Assistance: Assistance with regulatory documentation, IRB submissions, and oversight.
• Outreach: Facilitating collaborations with pharmaceutical corporations, clinical research organizations, and site management organizations.

State-of-the-Art Research Facility
The PCRC boasts a 5,000-square-foot clinical space equipped with:

• A research bay with two beds, a parent/sleeper sofa, shower facilities, and observation mirrors
• A child-friendly waiting area featuring computers, TVs, and videos
• Consultation rooms
• Research pharmacy
• Sample processing laboratory, -80 and -20 freezer
• Conference room
