Rafael E. Pérez-Figueroa, M.D., M.P.H., is an associate professor in the Department of Urban-Global Public Health at the Rutgers School of Public Health. He is also the Associate Dean for Community Engagement, Populations Health, and Public Health Service. He is a fellow of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Program, the Columbia University Community-Based Participatory Research Program, the National Hispanic Science Network on Drug Abuse, and the New York University Postdoctoral and Transition Program for Academic Diversity.
