Manuel “Manny” Jimenez, MD, MS is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics & Family Medicine and Community Health at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Director of Research at The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities, and an Attending Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician at Children’s Specialized Hospital. He also serves as Research Director for the Children’s Specialized Hospital/Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship.

Dr. Jimenez’s work focuses on promoting optimal developmental health for children and their families and making the health system more responsive to their needs. He uses quantitative, qualitative, and community engaged research methods to ask policy-relevant research questions as well as propose and test sustainable solutions to real-world problems impacting children and their families. His work has been supported by funding from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and others.
