The aim of the Initiative was to promote internationally recognized guidelines that highlight best practice for the conduct of multinational, multicultural, or multiregional surveys, which we refer to as \u20183MC\u2019 surveys. The intended audience is researchers and survey practitioners planning or engaged in comparative survey research across cultures or countries.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intestcom.org\/\">International Test Commission:\u00a0<\/a>The International Test Commission works in a variety of psychological, educational, occupational, and related measurement areas to promote fair, valid, transparent, and efficient testing, assessment, and reporting practices, guidelines, and policies to benefit individuals, institutions, and societies throughout the world.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cloudresearch.com\/\">Coudre Research<\/a>: Tools to recruit survey participants for market research and online surveys. Our tools provide academic and market researchers immediate access to millions of diverse, high-quality respondents around the world.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/creer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1304\/2025\/04\/ssoar-2023-behr-What_to_consider_and_look.pdf\">What to consider and look out for in questionnaire translation (Version 1.0)<\/a>. The recommendations in this guideline focus on the concrete translation step, answering the question what those translating questionnaires need to keep in mind and consider when translating and taking actual translation decisions. Areas covered include: (a) the translation of meaning, (b) cultural adequacy, (c) response scales, d) consistency, e) style and register, f) linguistic correctness, and g) layout and presentation.
