“My name is Katherine Tapia, I’m a non-traditional student representative. I joined DGC to give voice to the particular concerns and needs that other non-traditional students like myself may experience. We’re all together in this journey of learning and development, so I think it’s important to give each other a hand to succeed. I’m a mom to three children and like to spend my free time playing with them, learning languages, traveling, taking photos, reading, and writing. I enjoy singing, playing the piano and guitar, and have a passion for research in the Medieval Iberian and Anglo-Saxon literature.
