Glenda Gracia-Rivera is the Director of Professional Development and Training at the Center for Women & Work. In this role, she is responsible for directing many of the Career Equity Resource Center’s programs and services. Glenda’s work focuses on issues of equity and diversity in education and career development through professional development and training, curriculum development, student programming, and provision of technical assistance. In addition to this, she also has an extensive background in program development and management.
Prior to coming to the Center for Women & Work, Glenda was with the New Jersey Department of Children and Families, where she served as the Student Development Initiatives Coordinator in the Office of Education. She has also worked for the Children’s Home Society of New Jersey in Trenton, and FOCUS Hispanic Community Center in Newark, where she was responsible for implementing various human service and youth development programs.
Glenda holds both a Bachelor of Arts in sociology, and a Master of Public Administration in non-profit management from Seton Hall University. She has delivered several modules for the Center for HR and Leadership Development’s and the Center for Women & Work’s executive certificate programs in leadership development.
