Dr. Tejani completed Medical School at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She completed a pediatric residency at NYU Langone Medical Center and a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. She is the Co-simulation Director at Newark Beth Israel. She has presented simulation scholarly activity at regional and national conferences and has been an invited grand rounds speaker for this topic. She has published articles on the topic of simulation and facilitated system wide pediatric simulation workshops. She is also the Associate Director of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Fellowship Program at Newark Beth Israel and takes an active role in fellow education by facilitating weekly conference activities and mentoring fellows as they plan and implement scholarly activity. She directs the PEM fellow and pediatric resident simulation activities at Newark Beth Israel. She is a member of the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Simulation Advisory Committee.
