Christopher DelMaestro is Jersey born and raised. Growing up in central Jersey, he attended college at Drew University in Madison, NJ where he majored in Neuroscience and played baseball for four years. After going to Tennessee and graduating from Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, he came home to do his Emergency Medicine Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. After his first year as an attending at CMC, he completed an abbreviated online Simulation Fellowship at the Center for Medical Simulation. He has since presented on various simulation topics at both the regional and national level. He currently serves as Core Faculty and the Director of Simulation for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Community Medical Center.
He is a member of the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Simulation Advisory Committee. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, working out, and playing the piano.
