The initiative aims to create experiential learning opportunities for students that bridge classroom learning with real-world application. Small grants are provided to offset the costs of such activities, which could include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field trips, including tickets for museums or performances and local transportation (e.g.,\u00a0charter bus,\u00a0NJ Transit),<\/li>\n<li>Honoraria for guest\u00a0speakers,*<\/li>\n<li>Expendable supplies or services\u00a0directly related to the activity,\u00a0or<\/li>\n<li>Other creative activities that provide interactions and\/or hands-on experiences beyond a typical classroom experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instructors also receive dedicated administrative support in coordinating the activity (e.g., processing honoraria, arranging transportation, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>*Note: honoraria cannot be issued for Rutgers employees, LLCs, or corporations.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/newbrunswick.rutgers.edu\/provost\/classroom-enrichment-funding-initiative\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Learn more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Classroom Enrichment Activity Funding initiative offers funds to instructors teaching an undergraduate course at Rutgers\u2013New Brunswick.
