Postdoctoral Fellow Position in Exercise Physiology<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u25ba\u00a0 The Airborne Hazards and Burn Pits Center of Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n

The AHBPCE<\/a>, located at the NJ War Related Illness and Injury Study Center, was officially recognized by Congress and the President in Public Law 115-929 as a VA Center of Excellence in 2019. The Center has four primary areas of responsibility: 1) Clinical and translational research related to airborne hazards and burn pits, 2) <\/span>Specialized evaluations and diagnostic approaches to unexplained shortness of breath and other respiratory conditions, 3) <\/span>Detection of emerging patterns in health conditions using data from the\u00a0<\/span>Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry, and 4) Education that involves developing and disseminating best practices that can improve health outcomes for Veterans.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with expertise and\/or interest in cardiopulmonary physiology to join our clinical research team. Incoming fellows are expected to collaborate on ongoing funded projects, provide clinical cardiopulmonary services, develop independent research questions and apply for research grants.
