Mathematical Optimization Research Group (MathOptRG) is led by Dr. Farzad Yousefian who is currently an Assistant Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Rutgers University. The mission of MathOptRG is to advance the mathematical models, tools, and algorithms of optimization and game theory in addressing large-scale computational problems arising from a wide range of emerging applications in engineering and science. In particular, the current research projects aim at addressing challenging problems in scientific machine learning and multi-agent systems.
