Introduction to Toolbox

The Food Environment Toolbox (FET) encompasses a suite of food environment assessments that aim to allow researchers and practitioners to measure the different dimensions of food environments in diverse low- and middle-income country (LMIC) settings. The overarching goal of the FET is to provide assessments that are field and user-friendly, low cost, and scalable, and that complement one another to provide information regarding the multi-faceted characteristics of food environments. The Toolbox includes the following tools:

The Food Environment Toolbox was funded through the Innovative Methods and Metrics for Agriculture and Nutrition Action (IMMANA) programme, led by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), in partnership with Tufts University and the University of Sheffield.
