Marycarmen is responsible for the overall Passaic County 4-H youth development program. She develops, implements, and evaluates educational programs, teaching over 4,000 youth to date. She collaborates with many community organizations, including Oasis, a Haven for Women and Children, local public libraries, public and charter schools, and Passaic County Senior Services to develop strong partnerships in both urban and suburban areas of the county to increase positive 4-H youth development programming. Marycarmen focuses on teen leadership and out-of-school STEM programming for urban youth. She is also responsible for advising and training NJ 4-H STEM Ambassadors, Passaic County 4-H Science Pathways club members. Marycarmen earned her Bachelors of Art in Psychology from William Paterson University and her Masters of Art in Psychology from Claremont Graduate University.
