Amitabh (Amit) Lath is a professor in the Rutgers Department of Physics & Astronomy. He is an experimental particle physicist whose research focuses on the Compact Muon Solenoid experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. He received a doctoral degree from MIT in 1995 before coming to Rutgers.
