Yuri Gershtein

Professor

Yuri Gershtein is a professor in the Rutgers Department of Physics & Astronomy. He is an experimental particle physicist whose research focuses on the Compact Muon Solenoid experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. He received a doctoral degree from the Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics, Moscow in 1996. He was a postdoctoral associate at Brown University and a faculty member at Florida State University before coming to Rutgers in 2008.
