DESCRIPTION:The Nutrition\, Endocrinology and Animal Biosciences & Food Science (NEFS) Conference is an annual event coordinated exclusively by graduate students from the Nutritional Sciences\, Endocrinology and Animal Biosciences (EAB)\, and Food Science programs in order to showcase research in these respective fields. This year 3 of our students Mike Monzon Alex Rudin and Devin Kreitman will presenting their work to represent the entomology department. All abstracts\, posters\, and presentation videos will be available to view here from Sunday\, April 4 to Tuesday\, April 13. On April 13th\, there will be a live conference portion from  9:30am to 4pm for the Q/A portion of the conference. \nWere excited to see all of the awesome science being done around the university and get the opportunity to showcase some work in our department.

SUMMARY:Mentorship Relations Gathering- Open to Undergraduates of All Majors
DESCRIPTION:GESA will be hosting a virtual get together and info session with any interested undergraduates at Rutgers University. This meeting will be hosted on gather.town. This is a wonderful break from zoom and actually will feature a “poster session” that will tell you a little about each of our mentors. You also get to design your own avatar which is just fun! \nThis meeting is to help facilitate mentorships between the undergraduates and graduates. While we are looking to target undergraduates who are interested in persuing entomology we would love to have any undergraduates looking for some mentorship to attend. The goal of the mentorship is to help with real world situations as opposed to research focus. Some things that we would like to focus on are: What’s next after college? Should I go straight into grad school? How do you apply for grad school? And many other ideas. If you are interested please reach out to us at Grad-Ento-Group@scarletmail.rutgers.edu.
