Daniela A. Perez Chadid, MD

Dr. Perez Chadid is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Neurosurgery at Rutgers University, where she works on neurosurgical research initiatives at the university and with collaborators abroad. Originally from Medellín, Colombia, her work spans clinical research, global neurosurgery, and academic development. She leads and contributes to multiple neurosurgical research projects and supports the development of research opportunities for medical students interested in neurosurgery. Her academic interests include brain health, health systems, and equity in access to neurosurgical care, with a focus on using research and education to build sustainable capacity in diverse settings.
