Dr. Anil Nanda Delivers Keynote Address at WFNS Dubai Meeting

Dr. Anil Nanda, neurosurgeon and Editor-in-Chief of the WFNS Journal, delivered two featured presentations at the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) meeting in Dubai, attended by approximately 2,100 neurosurgeons.
Dr. Nanda delivered the keynote address titled “WFNS Journal: The Neurosurgical Silk Road.” Framed by the keynote’s theme, the presentation positioned the WFNS Journal as a venue for connecting neurosurgeons through shared scholarship, highlighting the Journal’s role in supporting scientific communication across the specialty.
In addition to the keynote, Dr. Nanda presented “Management of Intraoperative Ruptured Aneurysms,” addressing a core challenge in cerebrovascular neurosurgery. The topic reflects a high-stakes moment in operative care and remains a critical area of discussion and education within neurosurgical practice.
Together, these talks underscored the meeting’s emphasis on both neurosurgical science and operative decision-making, with one presentation focused on neurosurgical publishing and professional exchange through the WFNS Journal, and the other focused on an essential intraoperative cerebrovascular scenario.
