2025 American Association of Neurological Surgeons Annual Scientific Meeting (AANS 2025)

The Rutgers Global Neurosurgery team attended the 2025 American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Scientific Meeting, held in Boston, Massachusetts, from April 25–28, 2025.
This year’s theme, Power of One, Impact of Many, highlighted the collective strength of individual contributions in advancing neurosurgery. Set in a city known for its rich legacy in medical innovation, the meeting brought together neurosurgeons, researchers, and global health advocates from around the world.
Rutgers Global Neurosurgery had a meaningful presence at the event, with several e-posters and an oral presentation delivered by one of our medical student members, Aafreen Azmi, BS. Our team engaged in scientific discussions, presented ongoing work, and connected with collaborators to strengthen global partnerships.
