22nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Chinese Neurosurgical Society

Suzhou, China – Dr. Anil Nanda, Professor and Peter Carmel Endowed Chair of Neurosurgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, delivered the honor guest presentation at the plenary session to an audience of over 5,000 neurosurgeons at the 22nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Chinese Neurosurgical Society. His talk, titled “Skull Base Tumors: The Yin and Yang”, explored the complex balance between surgical innovation and patient safety in the management of challenging skull base lesions.

The meeting, held in Suzhou, China, brought together leading neurosurgeons from across China to share cutting-edge research, advances in neurosurgical techniques, and international perspectives on patient care. Dr. Nanda’s lecture highlighted both the technical demands and philosophical considerations of skull base tumor surgery, emphasizing the importance of precision, multidisciplinary collaboration, and cultural exchange in advancing neurosurgical practice.
