Rutgers Global Neurosurgery Students at the 2026 Winter Surgical Research Symposium

Rutgers Global Neurosurgery students participated in the 2026 RWJMS/NJMS Winter Surgical Research Symposium, presenting 7 of the 9 neurosurgery abstracts featured at the event. Under the mentorship of Dr. Anil Nanda, student investigators shared work spanning a range of neurosurgical topics and research approaches, demonstrating strong scientific communication and rigorous project development.
The Symposium provided a platform for RWJMS and NJMS medical students to present surgical research and engage with faculty and peers across specialties. Rutgers Global Neurosurgery’s student participation reflects the group’s ongoing commitment to training future clinician investigators through structured mentorship, collaborative teamwork, and early exposure to academic neurosurgery.
