Welcome to the website of the Network for the Study of Archaic and Classical Greek Song. The Network was founded in 2007 at the initiative of Ewen Bowie (University of Oxford) and Andr\u00e9 Lardinois (Radboud University Nijmegen) with the aim of promoting the exchange of information and ideas between scholars engaged in the study of archaic and classical lyric, elegiac and iambic poetry.<\/p>\n

Today, it is overseen by Nadine Le Meur (\u00a0Universit\u00e9 Paris Nanterre) and Timothy Power (Rutgers University), who act as the Network’s choragoi, and its principal activity is the organisation of annual conferences on themes identified as key to advancement of the field by an international team of core members or choreutai.<\/p>\n
