Postdoctoral Fellow<\/h5>\n

Dr. Akash Patel<\/strong>: Akash is investigating the function TFEB and TFE3 in regulating repair Schwann cell generation and CMT1 pathogenesis. He will also elucidate the function of CTL1 during oligodendrocyte lineage progression using transcriptome analysis<\/p>\n

Graduate Students<\/h5>\n

Henri Antikainen (Ph.D.)<\/strong>: Henri has been investigating the function of TFEB in astrocytes in the context of traumatic brain injury and seizure.<\/p>\n

Hana Choi (Ph.D.):<\/strong> Hana joined our Ph.D program in Fall 2023. She is currently investigating the impact of aging on Schwann cell repair function peripheral nerve regeneration<\/p>\n

Deuris Pena (M.S.)<\/strong>: Deuris joined our MS program in Fall 2024. He will join the project to study the function of CTL1 and choline metabolism in Schwann cells.<\/p>\n

Maria Davradou (M.S.)<\/strong>: Maria joined the MS program in Spring 2024. She has been also teaching undergraduate lab courses as a PTL.\u00a0 She has also joined the project investigating the role of CTL1 in Schwann cells.<\/p>\n

Shakshi Desai (M.S.)<\/strong>: Sharkshi is a new incoming MS student in the lab.\u00a0 Research project TBD.<\/p>\n
