Veronica M. Jones

Veronica M. Jones, PhD, MPH, CHES, joined the Rutgers Cooperative Extension as a Family and Community Health Sciences Educator (Assistant Professor) for Essex County in June 2023. Dr. Jones is part of the Housing and Health Equity Cluster, supporting education, outreach, and scholarship alongside colleagues in the Rutgers School of Social Work, Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, and the Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research. She has over 15 years of experience in managing public health and grant-based programs. Dr. Jones is committed to advancing health equity and justice through multi- disciplinary, community-based health programs, education, research, and policy change.
