To be eligible to participate, you must:
- be between 16 and 29 years of age; speak English fluently;
- have a mental health diagnosis/condition resulting in functional impairment in work, self-care, or social relationships;
- have no hospitalizations or suicide attempts within the past 2 months;
- be willing to provide informed consent (if younger than 18, parental consent) to participate in the study.

If you agree to be in the study, you will be asked to take part in a baseline interview, intervention group, and three follow-up interviews.

The study sessions will take place on HIPAA compliant videoconference via Zoom.

Participation will last approximately 16-20 months (4 month intervention + 12 months follow up), regardless of the group to which you are assigned. The total length of participation may vary based on time to complete necessary study procedures and follow-ups.

If you are under the age of 18, you will be provided with an assent and a parental permission form will be provided to your parent/legal guardian. Participants (and your parent/ legal guardian when applicable) will then sign the consent form if you wish to participate in the study.

All efforts will be made to keep your personal information in your research record confidential, but total confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Your information will be collected in a way that will remove information that can identify you, such as your name. Your data then will be entered into a computer used for the study. The data will be analyzed using statistical software.

All participants will be reimbursed up to $100 total for the time required to complete the assessments at four time intervals. Payment will be provided through an Amazon gift card via email. Payments will be made after the completion of each of the following interviews:
- $20 for the eligibility interview (baseline interview)
- $20 for completing the post-treatment interview (about 3 months after the baseline)
- $20 for completing the 6-month follow-up interview post treatment
- $40 for completing the 12-month follow-up interview.
